Learning Centres
After-school classes in reading, maths and English for children in Classes 1 to 8, in their own neighbourhood.
Most of our children are the first in their families to go to school. At home there is no one to help with homework, and private tuition costs more than many families earn in a week.
Each learning centre runs for two hours every school day, with no more than 25 children and a trained local teacher. We test every child three times a year and group them by what they can actually do, not by their class, so no one is left behind.
